I was up on Tincup this past weekend with my kids, my brother, and his family. We came across a jeep above the last switchback on the Buena Vista side. It was *HARD* off camber off the trail - I think I could make out stains on the driver's seat! Yea, I know this thread is worthless without pics, but my card reader isn't working. In any case, I'd consider Tincup impassible to full size vehicles due to the snow on that last leg - about 200 yards just barely wide enough for the ATVs to get by. The jeep ended up off the side trying to sneak by - there was no way he was going to make it.

Damn I really wanted to try this pass soon. How did you traverse...chevrolegs?

With the temps we've been having, it'll probably be open soon. We came up from the BV side, and some ATV's had warned us about the jeep (and you could see it from below) so we parked at the last switch back and walked the last 1/2 mile or so up to the pass. Trying to find a way to get these pics off the card...

Ok, got a new card reader, so here are the pics. On the way down we passed a wrecker on it's way up. I really wanted to see how they'd go about recovering this, but it was already 7:45, about to rain and a cruiser full of 7 hungry people!
