Jeep Comando

I found a 70ish Jeep Commando that I can pick up for a few hundred bucks from a friend. All original V6. Going to get it for my 17 year old son for him to work on and take out in the desert and save my nice FJ40.

Does anyone make lifts for these, how good are they for a trail rig?
