Hey there, I'm having an annoying issue with my 80 (perks of buying a JDM model) and I think I might have a fix, but wanted some opinions. I have a JDM 1994 80-Series which I absolutely love. In less than one year of ownership I've put over 10k miles on it and have driven it through 7 states without a single hiccup; however, there seems to be a safety feature on the JDM cruise control modules that will not let me set it past 70mph. Now, I understand these trucks really aren't designed to go much faster, but my rig will do 75mph with ease and even 80mph. Sure, it's not much of a difference but it certainly adds up on 10-hour plus drives.
I'm wondering if I can source a USDM cruise module and swap it out, but before spending the time and money trying to find one, I wanted to know if there was anyone else out there having the same issue. Thanks for any insight ya'll can give!
