Hate to do it, but just cant justify keeping something I only drive for 2 weeks a month.
I bought this off a fella out in Chilliwack in September of 2010. Put ~20,000kms ( driving between calgary and Van ).
Body/Interior
- very clean body as would be expected. Small dent in the LH rear fender. As well as drivers fender...very small.
- All rust has been cleaned and por-15'd.
- Interior is about a 6.5/10. Drivers seat is showing fatigue from asses sliding in and out. Carpet isnt the cleanest, but I have pulled it out and steamed it.
- 7" JVC touch screen deck. 24v - 12v very nicely installed under dash. Comes with a 24v-120ac converter as well.
- I started a fully removable rear storage / sleeper in the back. Isnt done yet but can finish before sale if desired.
-Brand new head lights
-Brand new ARB bull bar w/ warn 8274
-New door seals on front doors
Mechanical/tires
- the 12ht just turned over 200,000kms over the weekend. Since I have owned it I have only used synthetic oil. And have religiously cleaned and fixed leaks.
- Automatic A440f is in great shape, shifts awesome.
- Very solid truck, I have a heavy duty mechanic...and I have been very paranoid of keeping this truck in awesome working condition.
-Turbo was rebuilt before I bought it, I have a long list of major repairs done by ATEB.
-I rebuilt the front end about 5 months ago.
- Re-cored the radiator 3 months ago and put in a new water pump while at it
- 2 Brand new battery alliance batteries.
- 5 brand new 33x12.5x15 BFG a/t ko2 on 15x10 rock crawlers
- 1 1/8" master cyl and new 4runner calipers on the front.
The bad
Sun roof motor fubar
Left rear window wont work.
I have all the receipts from everything I have bought for it.
It has been a great truck to me. Just really wish I had time to use it. I have never taken this thing wheeling. Only light camping.
