Oops. How dumb of me. Safari on an iPad Pro, iMac 27”, and 15” MacBookPro. All with latest software. I can only log into mud with JavaScript off on my iPad Pro. All others I get a white screen, whether JavaScript is off or on. If I log into mud with JavaScript off on my iPad, I can then turn on JavaScript and use the site normally. Must be something with Safari?

The problem of getting a white screen after login is back, this time worse. I’m only sporadically able to log into Mud without getting a solid white screen. It can happen whether or not Javascript is on or off and whether or not I’m using private browsing mode. I’ve Googled the issue and done all the recommended fixes, like restarts, clearing caches/history, new bookmarks, etc. I use Safari on iMac, iPad Pro, iPhone 11 Pro, all with latest software updates.
I can log in with my iMac only by searching for Mud on google, then after loading the Mud home page, logging in on the generic forum page. Attempting to log into the 200 section, 100 section, or the sub section Lake Michigan Land Cruisers directly just gives me a white screen.
I can log in with my iPad and iPhone only by going to the menu of how to use a web page and requesting the desktop version after logging in. In other words, the mobile version gives me only a white screen.
So, something is goofed up with use of Mud on the Apple platforms with Safari, at least for me.
What other browsers is Apple supporting these days, and do they cause the same issue? ie: Chrome (which is what I usually use on my iPad...)
I just logged in with my iPad on Safari. 200-section opened normally, as did all the others you mentioned. (and I forgot MI was in the eastern time zone, and an Eastern Clubhouse as a result....) I don't have an iMac or iPhone or others to test with....my iPad is current with software/updates.
45% of the site is browsed on Safari. 44% Chrome. A sitewide issue would have my inbox exploding....
I did notice that your earlier replies had a larger font than normal....unsure if that was intentional with your reply, or something alluding to a device issue. Worth looking into, I'm betting Safari "saves" your settings across various devices.
