Is this the rear main seal?

damn.... i just did an oil change and spent lots of $$ on M1 syn, but i guess i can wait a few thousand miles since its only a small leak.. still much cheaper (timewise) than replacing the main seal.

Synth oils also have a habit of cleaning out dyno deposits and exposing leaks that weren't leaking before. I just stick with good ol' Castrol GTX and change it regularly, no need to go synth, IMO.
