Fingers crossed that it's not just another point of failure risk. I just wanted cool looking wheels for the mall...

Hmm. My brain cells are with @gaijin. When filling with most air nozzles, if you just stop for a half second, the pressure gauge tells you pressure without disconnecting (I use a filler by powertank with my ARB compresser line, but pretty sure others do same). Seems like just a stem protector would accomplish the same thing without two stems… but meh. Its an interesting idea.

What comes to mind on the tightly wrapped shroud is what happens in thick clay/mud. Seems like you might end up with near cement in that main stem hole…but meh. I overthink everything. ;)
