Is this LX450 a good deal?

OK, It's now mine :)

Basically everything checked out fine. I did not confirm 60k service, but that's OK. I can do most of it myself anyway (FSM for sale anybody?) The vehicle is in fantastic condition, everything works! The only thing I noticed was some vibration at 75+ mph, and I am pretty sure that is wheel/tire balancing issues. Thanks all for your help, and expect to see a lot more of me on this forum!

amt,

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to 80s ownership. Stick around, learn the personalities, treat Junk with respect, laud tons of praise on C-Dan, and never, ever hi-jack one of my threads.

That is to be left to the veterans.....

amt. cooooool.
Is the 75 mph a hum or vibe? Mine and others have a 70mph pulsating like hum.
If you think its more than that just ask.
How are the tires? They need to all the same size, brand, and worn the same or you will have problems.

I thnk it's more of a vibe, but am not sure. I did notice some really large weights on the wheels. The tires are very new, BFGs. At 70 theres nothing at all, at 80 it's noticable. It's pretty rare I'll be seeing 80 in the city, so I am not going to get too overworked right now.

One thing I have noticed is that the suspension is just as stiff as my "TRD offroad package" Tundra (really just bilstein shocks and a sticker!) I drove another LX450 and it was much softer -I am glad mine is much stiffer, much better feel on the road.

Only thing I have really found wrong is the speakers are blown. Oh darn, I will have to update the stereo :)
