Is this hose connection correct?

While flushing the coolant, just noticed this hose connection from the thermostat body looked weird to me. It looked not secured and I thought the hose should be all the way on the nozzle? Never touched this hose at all. Would anyone please confirm if it's what it is? Or the hose should be pushed all the way in? Thanks in advance...

That hose is properly seated. Either that or mine are installed incorrectly as well haha.

I wondered the same thing when I saw it on mine.
