Is there any issue driving with the passenger side pretensioner disconnected?

I have the dreaded airbag light, and I managed to pull code 64 with the shorting of the pins in the engine bay connector. I am going to remove it and send it to get refurbished, but was wondering if anyone knew if there were any negative consequences to driving with that connector unplugged and the seat belt removed. I would guess not but for something like airbag systems it's better safe than sorry

what service are you going to use to have it refurbished? I need to do the same to my front Passenger side pretensioner
Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of town. I used Safety Restore, I can confirm they fixed whatever was causing a broken/open circuit inside the seatbelt and my light is no longer on. Was around $80 all in
