Guys, there was a mud member named Jim on here a while back. He had a converted LX 450 that had a 1HD-FT engine installed.

I've tried sending him some PM, but no response. I know he was somewhere in the Vancouver area, but don't know specifically where. I did have his number, but I've lost it.

His mud ID is LX1HD-FT

Do any of you know who he is, and where to get ahold of him? I need to speak with him about some specifics regarding his conversion. I'm planning on a similiar conversion very soon.

thanks

Dana

Sheldon (70sguy) on this board did a similar swap, the recipient was a FZJ80. I believe Jim lives out in my neck of the woods, White Rock. I see the truck around, he has a personalized license plate... I believe it's LX1HD or something like that. I'm sure he was at Cruiser Days this last time as well. I know none of this helps, but at least he's still around.

Any idea what his last name is? I know it's a long shot, but maybe he's listed in the phone book.

I tried to get Brian (Woody) to send him an email with my contact info, but he said he couldn't do that.

C'mon guys, somebody on here probably knows how to reach him. :grinpimp:

Please help!

thanks :)

The problem is Dana, he's not a Coastal Cruiser member. It's sort of like "you know that guy with the Land Cruiser in Chatsworth" ;) Not to mention it's the holidays, so a few people are MIA. Does anybody on our forum know who did the swap? That would help.

Ahem... Try contacting G&S Cruisers. I believe the "S" stands for "Sheldon". ;)

I spoke with this guy at the coastal cruiser "cruiser days" and did not remember hearing his last name.
The guy who did his conversion is not known on here. It was a friendly mech or so to him. He also was a huge contributor to that conversion to help his mech.

Mud Guppie might know.....
