Is anyone else frustrated with the bluetooth/phone interface in their 2nd gen Sequoia?

It's okay. I'm buying offsets.
Handsfree is the law in our state, and a good idea, too. But sometimes mine works flawlessly, other times I can hear the caller but they can't hear me, or I call someone and I can hear them but they can't hear me, and it's actually at times gone from fine to they can't hear me in the middle of the call. It happened just now and when I tried to switch the audio on my phone it just dropped thecall. Owner manual is no help. Has anyone else had this issue/issues? Is there a solution or do I just resign myself that the system sucks?

2022 works fine. 2019 Tundra also works fine. It only misbehaves sometimes when it was paired with one phone first and then switched over to another. But power cycle (long press on the volume knob) fixes it. And only in Tundra, if I remember it correctly.
