Is a Duramax 6.6 diesel old or new technology

I would have to say that working on them the duramax is the worst engine, still to many bugs in it. Cummins would have to be my choice for best engine.

So is that mechanical problems or electronic/electrical problems?

I thought this engine was 5 years old so I expected things would have been ifixed by now.

Thanks for the responses guys, I don't participate in other forums so I thought I would get some input here and I have. Thanks again, I will let you know "if and when I buy something to use besides my 100-FTE LC!
