Yes, that is a 200 series Cruiser (VDJ200 specifically) with a 100% custom independent rear suspension, and some other very cool bits.

It is NOT a hack job. It is beautiful.

I respect the effort, and certainly appreciated reading french again, but it seems the path of least resistance would have been a 2008 to 2012 v8 Pathfinder. It’s already 4 wheel independent . . .
 
Or transplanting the Sequoia rear end.

Guaranteed there is no comparison between this and a Pathfinder or Sequoia IRS... OEM is all about low cost and compromise - This build didn't take either one of those into consideration.

Besides, you're missing the point of the project - the path of least resistance is boring!
