Multi-year lurker, finally registering!
Long-time owner of a '64 FJ45 (you Virginia folks or GSMTR attendees have probably seen it -- one of the best-preserved SWB bodies east of the Mississippi!) and a '78 FJ40. I'm a diplomat and am currently posted in the Middle East where I have an '03 HZJ 105 and a '05 HZJ 105 (armored) -- having finally "gone diesel".
Occasional rock and mud crawler -- more often third-world expedition cruiserhead (Africa, Asia, Australia, Latin America).
My mechanic "pedigree": the Fritch brothers (Blacksburg & Manassas, Va.), Land Cruiser Connection (later 4x4 Connection - James Asti & friends), Cole's Imports (Chris Cole), Iron Pig (Lance Williams).
