I'm based in Ramona, California, and I've been around the overlanding and 4x4 community for a while. I spend a lot of time on trips with folks running everything from Tacomas to 4Runners to Land Cruisers.
A few years back, I noticed a gap: overlanders were tracking gear, routes, weight calculations, and trip planning across a dozen different apps and spreadsheets. It's a mess. So my team and I built Rig-Locker — a single app that handles payload management, gear organization, route planning, and trip prep all in one place.
Here's what sets it apart: it calculates your center of gravity based on what you're actually packing and where you're putting it in the rig. Most people don't know if their load is balanced, and that's a real safety issue on the trail. Rig-Locker shows you exactly how the weight shifts your CG and what that means for your vehicle's handling and stability — especially critical for overlanding.
It works with any platform — Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, you name it.
