Wasssup guys, Tacoduck here. New to the 200 forum, but not new to MUD. Just bought a 2015 lx570 with 54k miles. Truck looks and smells brand new. This is my 3rd Landcruiser, other 2 are in my title. My parents have had 4 lx570's, and Its always been a bucket list truck for me. Thankfully, depreciation is a bitch! I bought my truck with a $90k sticker for $42k 4 years later.

First impressions- This is the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. It is so well made. Just tremendous. Its bigger than my ujz100's, but its not too big.

my only dislike so far is the hitch cover. I realize that many don't tow or use their hitch, but I use mine all the time to haul utility trailers, bike racks, and aux racks. I pried the cap off thinking Id just ride around with it off. Surprised at how stupid it looks with the cover off. I guess ill just get used to getting on my knees and prying the damn thing off ever other week.

Also, bummed to see that tire sizes are limited for lexus on 20's. I was shopping tire rack, and falkens are running 300 a tire! FML. Might swap to some tundra 18's and big meats.

Thanks!

Congrats on the great deal! I've seen some on here who cut a hole in the hitch cover to allow the hitch to to be installed with the cover on.

hopefully you're not trying to pry out the black plugs. I was doing that until someone taught me to push them in to release....

Yeah, I pried it out. Im going to have to come up with a better solution...

I leave my hitch cover off permanently. By doing this, it also prevents damage from folks who like to park real close to my bumper. :D
