Hey guys! I picked up an 85 base pickup a couple weeks ago, to daily since my 80 series get about 12mpg. Spent more than I wanted to but its a pretty strait and I have always wanted a solid axle second gen. Its got brand new 33x12.5x15 duratracs and aluminum wheels as well as a new OME lift.

The trucks shocks are shot and I dont think they are long enough. I want to replace them but OME shocks are a little pricey so I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a 5100 bilstein that is the right length for this lift and that will bolt on.

Thanks guys! Here are some pictures of the rig, first one is when it ran out of gas 3 miles form the sellers house and my buddy who drove me to get it had to tow me to the station.haha

Cool rig. I'm looking at getting Bilstein's as well for my 85 4Runner as well.

Nice truck, I have one very similar with around the same lift. Is yours just a 3" lift?

They are old man emu dakar springs. I think they are around 3in.

Yea that's what I thought. BIL24-065283. I'm thinking of picking up these shocks for the front of my rig. I have the same springs up front so these would be in the flex range your looking for.

Thanks! Do you have any idea on rears?
