Intermittent wipers

Hi All
I have a 1993 75 series pickup that came with only standard wipers( no intermittent position).
I installed a new combination switch in the steering with the intermittent positioning on it. They still do not work intermittently.
The wiper relays are all the same number from 1991-1999.
Any idea how to wire the switch so that they operate?

The FSM (Toyota factory service manual) shows how to test the wiper relay. From this, you can work out what the wiring needs to look like to support intermittent wipers.

I never knew they came without the feature to be honest. Are there four wires in the connector which goes to the wiper motor?

My 95HZ75 doesn’t have the intermittent position. Was wind about if it was possible to switch to intermittent. LHD

Int or Mist are the options with Mist being one swipe and return with a momentary switch (pull back stalk like the HI Beam flash) and does have 4 wires.

That's a nice option, thanks for explaining it.

If the wiper relay is the same I would guess you get intermittent wipe just by fitting the correct wiper stalks.

Yes and no, pinouts in the connector may need to change because the Mist simply grounds momentarily.

There are also 6 wire rigs indicated as "Euro" but don't know what countries/years/models constitute that.
