Randomly no power to interior items including dash, thus not able to start. Security and door open lights very faint.
Strange part I haven't figured out is that by stepping on the brake (car off, parked, won't start) a few times, the lights pop on and you can start the truck. Perhaps related, or a separate moisture issue, the radio sound drops out for a sec, often when hitting brake. What is happening here?
Suspected a ground issue due to my research here. Ordered the custom made ones from @BnvS.
In the meantime, I read a great idea post on a somewhat similar issue where @Jdfern suggested running a jumper cable from the negative post to the frame. Viola. Dash lit right up. Car starts.
