I have been hunting down two interior squeaks which it seems like forever. Tore apart the dash because it seemed like it was from there. Greased all the portions of the sun roof, thinking it was from there. These did nothing.
I decided to pull the visors out and noticed there was some foam at the connections for the lighted mirrors that seemed worn.
I wrapped the connections in cloth electrical tape and my squeaks appear to be gone.
Might help someone else if you have an obnoxious squeak.
