Interior hatch trim tip

Has anyone else lost those small white clips that hold the vertical trim on the inside of the hatch? I have. Almost impossible to prevent them from falling off and into the metal upper hatch frame. Today I was changing the LEDs on my 2015 LC and when I popped off the taillight assembly, guess what I found laying in the opening? Yep. So if you lose those clips, they may not be gone forever. Just remove the taillight and they should be sitting inside.

There. I just saved you a trip to the dealer and more likely, having to order online.

That's funny. I lost mine but I can hear them rattling around in the hatch still when I open and close it.

It’s super easy to get the tail light off. Two nuts on the bottom, one on the top outside, one press fit fastener on the top towards the center. I used a nylon trim tool to pry that one loose.
