Interchangeable tail lights? Want to swap 2015 for 2011 or LED.

I have a 2015 LC, with the bulbous orange outside tail lights. Personally, I don't like the look. I like the old tail lights that are just red and clear, like the inside tail lights (the ones on the rear gate).

Has anyone tried to fit a 2011 tail light onto a 2015? Does it fit without modification or gaps?

Looks like there are some LED aftermarket tail lights that list they are for 2008-2013, so I'm curious if those would also fit a 2015?

If you can't find anyone to switch taillights with (I think they look fine), you could also try red vinyl over the amber. Personally, I run amber LED turn signals up front and red LED in the rear, to modernize the look a little bit.
