Interchangeable 40 gas tanks

I am selling my old fuel tank on ebay. It is out of a 1971 FJ40. I have a prospective buyer asking if it will fit his 1965. I have an idea it will fit if he caps off the extra vent and emissions lines. Any one know for sure?

i have a 72 tank in my 65 and it basicly fit had to cap off a few lines we were getting ready for a race and had the tank in about half an hour no issues so far good luck
