I did a search and couldn't exaclty find the answer I was looking for. So, I want to paint my intake, and I have some clear engine paint that says it's good to 500 degrees. Do you think that would work? I'm not sure how hot it will get since it's beside the exhaust manifold.

I really doubt that it is going to give you the results you desire...

    Good luck!

    Ceramic coating is nice :D

I did a rattle can on my intake ,but it's on a sbc. Cleaned it up with bead blaster, 3 coat of high temp paint w/ ceramic in it or something like that. Then a couple clear coats of the same thing. Worked out good for me
