Intake Manifold

Good Morning HDC's,

So I took the cruiser to Skinners for a carb-rejet and he discovered I have a cracked intake manifold. What's your all's opinion on a path forward? Get existing one repaired, buy a new/refurbished one? Are there high performance versions and if so, are they worth the extra $$?

Not sure if there is a performance manifold for a 2f. Probably wouldnt gain much either. Where is the crack? I would try to repair the existing one if its the original.

The crack is at the far end closest to the firewall. Skinner said cylinder 5 isn't firing during idle.

I found a used one on ebay for $125.

Skinners also said the exhaust manifold is also leaky. Less worries about that.

Also, while you're under the hood for the intake, makes sure the oil galley plug has been plugged

no oil pressure and oil all over the freakin place
