I had a new rear bumper fitted, and I noticed my clock had reset. I assumed the installer disconnected the battery before working on the electrical and didn't think any more about it. However, I took the truck for my first night drive and the instrument cluster wouldn't light up when the headlights were on. The turn signal indicators light up, the e-brake indicator lights up, etc., but I don't have the "backlight." Anyone know what I might troubleshoot to diagnose the issue?

Thanks!

In case anyone experiences this, I dug into the issue and the brake lights weren't working either. It turns out the "backlight" and the brake lights are on the same circuit. The connector for the rear bumper wasn't properly connected and a fuse was weirdly bridged. New fuse and fixing the connection resolved the issue.
