I removed my instrument cluster and replaced it with a sheetmetal assembly with 4 autometer gauges. Now my alternator won't charge. Any help would be appreciated.

You are not completing the circuit.......no loop closure.

I took a quick look at a wiring schematic and it looked like the black/yellow and yellow/white wires would close the loop. I connected them and no luck. Gonna have to go back to the schematic.
check your fuses too. i have had my back up light fuse blow on an 87 pick up and it also is the exciter for the alternator.

No need, only have to travel a few miles to our the trails and trailer it to The Badlands, Cliff's Insane Terrain, Hannibal Rocks, etc....
