All right... a few pics up of the lift. Use the link in my signature. Let me know if you want any specific pics and I probably have them.

A quick write-up on my experiance:

First off, gotta throw a plug to my buddy's shop in Menlo Park, CA @ ** PlanetAuto Repair ** for hooking me UP to get this lift on (and a ton of other stuff he's helped and done for me on the cruiser)

Ordered:
I had previously purchased the 1" over stock OME Anti-inversion greasable shackles
OME Dakkar springs (front/med, rear,heavy)
OME bushings
OME U-bolts
KYB shocks (front/stand, rear/hd)
33x12.5 ProComp Xterrains

The springs were put on according to the thread above and worked perfectly.

The shackles were the big question. I purchased these on the forum so, they didnt come with any real instruction and had not part numbers on them. There were two pair - one shorter than the other. It just so happens the Dakkars setup I opted for were heavy in the rear and med duty in the front. This makes the spring pack in the rear taller therefor raking the car forward. So, in short, we used the shorter shackles in the rear and taller ones in the front (after pulling them off and on 3 times!) It put the cruiser at almost perfectly level. It rakes forward just a little. My other buddies couldnt even tell until after I told them.

I was worried about the tires rubbing and sticking outside of the body. At a full crank to the right a left, there is no frame rub. I have yet to stff them (doing that tonight at the local Safeway). They dont stick outsdie the body at all on the stock rims.

LOVING IT!

I also heard some talk of a really rought ride... etc.. Coming home with 4 29" tires, springs and misc hardware (by the way, all for sale and to be posted soon!) the ride was REAAALLLY NICE! But, this is to be expected considering the heavies in the rear. That night I took out the load and drove around all the next day (highway, streets, etc...) and the ride was really smooth... What a difference. NIGHT & DAY compated to the old beat springs. IMO, overall - A little bouncy here and there but, nothing how some describe it. I have also heard the springs will settle with more miles and wheeling.

To come..
Still using the stock sway bar links. Currently makeing some quick disconnects in the garage.

Thanks again!
