Installed some longer procomp es9000 shocks for the rear. 12.68" of travel to be exact. had a chance to test it out today. wish i had better pictures.

they are not as firm as the OME L shocks but not too soft either. couldn't tell the difference on the road unless i hit a bump.

you checked the brake lines and all, I take it?

how much travel do the OME have? and it's all just bolt on, same mounting exactly?

brake lines were fine.

the OME shocks are right at 11 inches. for the rears it's bolt on. i did have to use the OME bushings though as the pro comps are too small.

Yup been running those pro comp's for years, been happy with them for the most part. Had one leak late last year and 4WP's replaced it for free even after 4 years of use. Think they were spec's for chevy or ford lifted pickup trucks if I remember correctly. Bought new bushings for mine also since the procomp ones won't work, replaced those after about 3 yrs of use since they flatted out to much.

We've had Pro Comps on our rig since we bought it. Usually they're a stiff off the shelf shock.. but with the 80's weight.. it doesn't feel that way. So far our shocks have survived thousands of miles off road. No real complaints here.

thats good to know as i am planning to keep the OMEs. didn't know what to expect from the Pro Comp shocks. wasn't expecting them to last as long as the OMEs.

Have some on the back of mine too. Happy so far, they are very good for the money.

Your rig is coming along nicely Rufino.
