I picked up some cheap driving lights from Princess Auto (Canada only) that were on sale for CAN$12.00 (for both!). They are in a stainless steel hsg with 100W halogen bulbs. I just can't bring myself to spending $300-$500 for a pair from PIAA or Hella especially after seeing some Hella's filled with water that couldn't be disassembled. I took a couple of pics last night on a road near my place. The first pic is with my highbeams, and the second are with my highbeams and the driving lights. The top of the hill in the photo is approx 400-500 ft away.

Best $12.00's you ever spent...

Ha! Good old Princess Auto.

I love going through their surplus stuff when I'm there.
Those look really good for $12.

I'm going to try to find some at my local princess auto when i am there.

Lights look great on your truck :)

canman, did you buy enough to share with the whole class? :D

sweet deal man.

did you add a relay or just wired through the switch? I also have a set sitting in storage waiting to be installed.

I added a relay and aux fuse block I picked up at the wreckers. I have another thread which shows the aux fuse block and relay. The relay (dual) I believe was for the ABS system out of a 4Runner. The way I wired it is such that both relays are activated when I close the light switch. I have wired everything for an additional set of lights using the second relay, but have not yet installed additional lights.
Thanks for all the positive comments:cheers:
