Picked up the Man-A-Fre 6-1 header for my 2f last weekend and now I have to make a decision.

Do I try to put it on this weekend or do I go hit some trail? I think I'd rather play than work--anyone going out? Would love to hit Metberry/Hacket/Longwater once before the snow comes.

If I do the header install do I risk just bolting it on? Supposedly this one was made to the correct thickness & won't cause intake/exhaust leaks. Rather than going to the effort of getting header/intake milled I'm tempted to risk it and deal with leaks if they show.

Plenty of time to do that stuff when it's cold & windy out! Assuming you have a garage of course!

Step 1) Pull cruiser in garage.
Step2) open beer.
Step3) call buddies and see if anyone is bored and wants to come help, mostly based on beer bribery.
Step 4) get header installed this weekend
Step 5) call luke and go to metberry next weekend and test said header...
Step 6) brag about how your 2f has more "seat of the pants" power... yeah, sure it does...

I would help, but i'm in tennessee doing some 4wheeling with a friend. Lamission just happens to be my favorite mexican restaraunt in the springs :)

OK, header wrapped & painted and installed--rest of the exhaust is on the garage floor to be replaced with some big pipe and some kind of magnaflow sorta thing on Tuesday.

Pretty loud right now coming straight off the header--go figure.
