I just pre-tested my harness adapter to the Toyota stock radio plugs that were not previously used. I had power at the yellow wire and ACC power (with key on) at the red wire. You bypassed the red ACC wire and I don't see why I would have to unless it doesn't work once everything is hooked up. Did you test yours prior?

Here are some shots. The monitors aren't the greatest but they were priced right and have a clear picture directly in front of them, which is where you would be viewing anyway. The Eclipse units display can be viewed from just about any angle which is nice.
It was a tight fit and I ran every harness but the Ipod connector, so you can get everything in there. I also soldered the harness adapter wires to the harness wires on the unit and put heat shrink tubing around each one. That kept me from having the large mass of butt connectors all together. I ran the backup camera wires down the passenger side along with a remote amp turn on and RCA cables for the sub low level input (I have a Bazooka 10" back there). I ran the GPS wire out the drivers side firewall and have the sensor positioned on the cowling in the center between the windshield and hood. I am an Apple hater so I have my Creative 20gb player hooked into the audio in so I can use it, although I must admit the Ipod interface is sweet if you have one. The video out wires are run down under the center console and split to each of the headrest monitors, these work great and display the DVD when the Nav unit is in navigation and backup camera modes (just like it should).
