It was a knuckle busting experience but sort of fun. I was actually more pissed off trying to get all the plastic trim pieces and everything tucked back together around the seat . I think I broke a few tabs but anyway....@Mike NXP Thanks for the review on these covers. You did a good job installing them - it's not an easy task to get them tight! As I eye replacement covers, LCH covers are top of my list at the moment.
Could you please provide an update on their durability now that it's been about 2 years?
It really depends on your long term and current goals for the truck. I will say there was a time I thought, s***, I should have just thrown some seat covers or a towel down a moved on .... Other times where I'm like, oh no don't mess up the seats, when I wish I could just be covered in mud and let the dog jump around and not care.Really appreciate the update - thank you! Glad they're holding up well with your dog as well, my pup can be a brute when he gets ramped up.
If I go this route I'll add some feedback and pics.
I really like your idea of a cinch cover on the actual shifter. Not once have I looked down to see what gear I’m in - Toyota put it on the dash for a reasonThis thread is morphing a bit into a catch-all for interior fabric stuff I am doing. I decided to cover up the LCH leather with Cordura from Caltrend and I am actually really happy with it. It does look way less appealing than the leather, but it makes it more rugged which I needed.
OK anyway now I'm getting into some Escape Gear. I've got their center console cover on order, and their transmission cover seemed liked a cool idea to me. Once installed it adds some pockets on the side which I have a lot of use for BUT it's lacking the coverage I wanted and the fit is a little off on the cup holder side. I give it a B- because of fitment on the cup holder edge.
I'm trying to work with them on a new version, that adds a sleeve around the gear shifter ( like the transfer case lever ) and then cover all the buttons. I can still push the buttons through the cover and I don't need to see my shift indicator lights in the center. Will post results here if they can make it happen.
Crappy cell phone pic below of current version and then what I hope to get them to make me instead.

For sure, I couldn't help but want it as soon as I saw the way they have that cover around the transfer case leverI really like your idea of a cinch cover on the actual shifter. Not once have I looked down to see what gear I’m in - Toyota put it on the dash for a reason
Please update if they tweak the design

Appreciate the update... bummerUnfortunately escape gear isn't able to accommodate any "custom" request so I suppose this is the final product. The cupholder side of it doesn't line up nicely no matter how I position it. In its current version, I'd say it's really just good for the pocket on the side for smaller items that usually float around
They did mention the concept of a bulk order which I will ask about. I also offered to just test something out and would be willing to eat the cost if it didn't work out so we'll see what happens. I think they should be able to use their existing pattern and just eliminate the opening + add some material on the cupholder side.
