Inside width of a 40

Guys, how wide is the inside of a 40 from wheel well to wheel well. I am looking at getting a 40 and am curious if my Cargo storage box will fit from my 80.

If I remember correctly I think the box is 43 3/4 " wide and 39" long.

I come up with 40 3/4 wide and about 48" long.

yea..I think you might be a few inches too wide for it to fit...I am running an alum tub.... but I believe it has the same wheel well to wheel well measurements... 40 3/4"

Thanks a lot guys! I guess I'd have to trim down one side and remake a drawer for it.
