Inside bodt panel : Sound Deadener ?

Inside some of the body panels (85 FJ60) there's something like tar paper or rubbery panel stuck (glued) on . . .done at factory, has body color paint on it....

Does this material have a common name ?
Can it be bought at an auto paint store ?

I have replacment doors (after market brand) , they sound kind of 'tinney'; thinking that materail may deaden the tinneness . . .

Pete, Dynamat can be used. Car audio stores sell it. Not exactly like factory, but closest thing to it I know of.
I bought Fat Mat brand because it was cheaper.

After learning body fill, and now going to learn painting....next is light gauge welding ( roof...just like yours....).

The rusty doors comming off will be the supply of metal strips for the roof ( few sq ft per door of good stuff....)
