insert a post between two posts

I was wondering if I could insert a post between posts. Not talking fence posts. I am interested in inserting a post between two of my own posts if that helps. Seems I've done it before but don't remember how at the moment.

not possible to insert a post..they are all date-stamped and will always occur in that order

If it was requested under certain circumstances, could you /would you rearrange posts in a thread?

not without actually editing in the database...so, no

Vary which order you hit the 'multi-quote' button with. They'll be in whatever order you 'multi-quote' them.
