So in my gx470, my rear passenger window isn't working. The symptoms are that the driver's master switch and the passenger's single switch don't work. As in the window doesn't move at all with either. And the passenger single switch light will blink twice. Video evidence.
I know when replacing the battery, the windows and sun roof needs to be opened and closed to sync the auto function. But my battery was replaced (according to the sticker) about a year before I bought it.
Normally in the videos of people syncing their windows,. The window will work at the single switch. So I'm not sure if the window becoming inoperable at all if you forget to resync it is normal behavior.
Obviously, disconnecting the battery and resynchronizing the windows is my first step. But I'm borderline terrified that I'm only going to make the problem worse. So I want to ask if anyone has encountered this problem before. Or has any suggestion?
