Need some real time help
Balls deep in a front axle rebuild on my 60. Got all the components needed, rebuild kit etc. I noticed I was missing an extra spindle bushing. But it appears I’m missing another bushing as well INSIDE the diff, beyond the axle deal (see photo) I’m wondering what this one is and how good of shape it appears to be in?
Also there’s some gouges on the surface outside the axle seal (see same ohotk) , definetly catches my finder nail pretty good. Is this fixable?
