Injector leak - 13BT

I’ve had this issue since doing the head gasket some time ago. I can’t seem to tackle it on my own so I’m wondering if anyone has any idea.


At the base of injector #4 it seems to be spewing small amounts of diesel. I’ve gone through and replaced the washer and rubber grommet that sits at the base but it hasn’t seemed to fix anything. I torqued it down to 13ft/lb per the manual but it still leaks.

Any ideas or advice is always greatly appreciated.

Something must be damaged or you are doing something wrong. Have you identified exactly where its leaking from?

Yeah it’s coming from the base of the injector right between the rubber gasket.

I’ll snatch a picture in the morning
