I was doing a once-over on my 12H-T fuel system and found that there is supposed to be a fuel return line, but there isn't one to speak of on mine.

In fact it looks like the previous owner must have put a slug of weld inside the fitting to seal it shut. That can't be good?

The engine has been running just fine, but now I'm starting to suspect if this (over-pressurization) is the reason why there is so much fuel getting into the oil.

UPDATE: It definitely was welded up. I drilled it out and fitted a new return line. Originally I thought this was a typical farm fix but it runs just fine after I reverted it. I may do an oil sample at the next service interval to see if this resolves the fuel contamination issue.
