Hi I bought my top of the line 200 landcruiser in December 2016 and have no end of ‘niggly’ problems with the computer including the car losing power while in cruise control when overtaking on a dual carriageway (dealership said it must have been affected by the police radar scanner in a police car passing on the other side).
In January I had the Pre crash malfunction, engine light, traction control and take your car to the nearest dealer warning come up then the car went into ‘limp’ mode and then the vehicle just stopped. I managed to get it started again and headed the 20kms to the nearest dealer but it happened twice more the third time while crossing a very busy 100km intersection where it was only the skill of other drivers prevented a nasty accident. The car is still with the dealer as they have seen the problem on the computer but are unable to reproduce the problem or definitively identify the cause of the problem. Has anyone else had a similar event or can offer insight ?
