Hi all-
It seems that some restorations never end....
I have a '81 bj42 with 3b. Oil pump components all have scoring (see pics of cover, housing, rotor below). Perhaps I can get away with using these old parts? But am thinking of replacing some or all parts. Anyone got an opinion on this or a lead on obtaining these parts?
I also have a h55f 5sp tranny (out of a '85 bj60) that I am rebuilding to convert out the old 4sp. Everything inside is perfect except for one bad bearing and the countershaft has some wear and is borderline reusable. Anyone have a good used countershaft to get rid of?
Wow, when I said some restorations never end, I meant it...Digging deeper, I just found out that I also need to replace the rocker arms and two pushrods! Any help?
