Anyone have a rebuildable 2F or complete 3FE hanging around? I'll be ready (financially) by March I hope. I sure don't wanna go SBC.

While y'all are here Debi may be looking for a 2" or so lift for her 80 if anyone is planning on going bigger.

Oh, and I'm still looking for a gooseneck. I'm after a 34' deck lowboy, 2 7K axles and brakes.

Not sure what I'm gonna do if we start trailering the 80, the 40 and buggy to events  .

I'm in no hurry for any of the above, but if anyone runs across something gimme a hollar please.

Thanks,

I might have a set of OME heavy front springs and quite possibly four slightly used shocks in the not too distant future. Looking at J's, Billy's and a three link for the front.

What pray tell are you going to do if you decide to take the F-toy, 80 and the 40 to events? Maybe it's time for a Peterbuilt. :D

Don't have a clue what J's and Billy's are but If'n its about a 2" lift for the 80 I'm interested :D

We've actually talked about getting a Toter Home. One a them Peterbuilt's with a stretched frame and a small apartment behind the cab. Sort'a sucks for a daily driver or trips into town for groceries tho :) . Debi actually said after we (I, since she can work from anywhere with internet and cell coverage) retire, get the girls through college (19 years... like I'll live that long) and sell the house we could do that. Purdy sure that was we "diplomatic" way of saying :flipoff2: .

ok fine....:D i here your springs are headed over to fjben via 2badfjs this evening....hope they don't weigh too much....the 45 shorty and a spare f engine and your springs....i'd say we got a full load coming back!

You really need to spend some time in the 80's section and I don't mean the 1980's section at Best Buy.:D The J springs are 1" more than what I have now minus the spacer (all spring, no spacer). Billy's = Bilstein's; They might be kinda high $$ for the 40 right now but once you get that job at Pep Boys you'll be in.

ROTFLMAO Take few minutes and come up with a nice way of telling Deb to work on getting a bigger raise. It's a lot like pissing into the KS wind. I tried it with Wen and there was talk of sleeping in the garage shortly after.:D Once you've been :ban: for the weekend you can stay here since it was my idea.

I'm gonna have to send a lot of beer to the Colorado boys.... and you for haul'n 'em.

Mike, There are several fj60's bein parted. Most are quite far away. I too an half heartdly lookin. The f moter in the Hot Dog is gettin lots of blowby. Not to mention lack of oil pressure. Dang thing still runs purdy good tho...

Chris, Thanks! Please let me know

Don, I even ound a 60 in Lincoln beng sold cheap but the motor was locked :frown: . I need to pull my 2F head and check the valve seals, that may get me another year. No point in waiting tho.

If you decide to get the J's/Billsteins and Mike doesn't take your springs/shocks let me know, I'm interested.

Mike - there is a Gooseneck setting for Sale up here in Liberty. Looks to be a used for Heavy Equipment. Dual axles with dually tires on each. I can drive by and take a pic and ask the price if you need.

:bounce:WOW!:bounce2:

I've managed to score two 2F's and a set a medium OME springs for Debi's 80. Looks I'll be come'n to the meet'n in the big blue Ford with a hoist. Guess I need to get the 'hillbilly hotel' out a the back a the truck purdy soon.

Thanks ta Casey, Chris and Eric!!!!

Now, do any of y'all have a 3fe head, intake and exhaust???? Ya see Casey's 2F is a late model out of a 60.... perfect for a 3fe efi setup (I think, Erik?). My minds always work'n, just usually back'ards.

I know... some just ain't never satisifed

I"m your huckleberry!
WOuld you be somewhat surprised if I told you i have a spare 3f intake lying around? But.. I did give away the other 3rd spare 3fe intake I had.. Here's the problem I see.. I don't know if I have what all your gonna need unless you want to do a custom setup. I only have one complete 3fe lying around with wiring harness which you can understand has a final goal of ending up in one of my trucks. YOu don't wanna get too far ahead of me do you? Don't make me try and catch up!
You can do custom which will negate the need for a MAF sensor and change it to MAP sensor. Change from a v6 computer to an inline 6 computer etc.. Not super easy but doable. You know where to find me! But in cleaning out part of the basement this week I did find part of what your looking for.
