Sell the 37's step down to 33's/35's and reinstall your stock gears. You'll have the 5.29's when you return and after that drive you'll want new rubber shortly afterwards. Problem Solved! total cost = cost to install old gears.

That's a good idea but I'm trying to raise money here. Also, the gas mileage on the 80 sucks and we're poor. The 22mpg of the 4runner is tough to beat.

Ok, so I've decided to sell my tires, wheels, lift, and axles. If I then decide to sell the cruiser I won't feel like I got raped with all the money I spent in the last month on it.

(5) 37x12.5x17 BFG KM2s on Tundra/Sequoia rims. 1 trail ride, about 500 street miles. $2000

E-locked axles with 5.29s, ALL new bearings, rebuilt knuckles, new brakes. Set up by Yotamasters about a month ago. About 1500 miles on them. Basically a brand new set of axles. $2000 and trade for your stock e-locked axles.

If someone buys both I'll throw in the lift too if they trade me for their stock parts. OME Js front and rear with Rancho RS9000s.

Too bad you need $. I would be interested in a total swap; lift, axels, wheels, tires plus some cash but I already have too much $ into my axel rebuild, brakes, rotors, lift and tires to fork out $4000 on an upgrade.

will the 4runner be stock? if it is than i say go with the 4runner. if not, you may not gain much from using the 4runner whereas the '80 is already equipped

I'm going to put OME coils and torsions and leave it at that.

Today I picked up my Hannibal 1.4 RTT. My Engle MT45 should arrive tomorrow. I can't wait.

I have about half my crap sold already. This is getting pretty exciting.

I have about half my worldly possessions sold now.

Sold my beautiful Core i7 MacBook Pro yesterday. That hurt. Picked up a crappy 4 year old Dell Latitude yesterday with XP. I forgot how much old laptops sucked. Oh well, it will be good for our trip.

Instead of selling off all of your stuff, which you'll only get back a fraction of, I'd work my ass of doing whatever I could to earn the equivalent amount of money.

In the long run, you'll end up re-buying some of the stuff and have to fork over more money.

Some decisions are hard to make, and it's yours to make.
