Ignition Switch Woes

I lost the keys to my 1982 Toyota Pickup and was wondering if there is an easy way to remove the ignition switch without the key. I know I'll find the set as soon as I swap them out, but I want to work on the truck this weekend and I have a spare switch with factory key and matching door locks as well.

Have you tried to start it with a different key?

My buddy told me the same thing especially since it's got over 330k on it. Unfortunately it's currently at my dad's shop which is over an hour from me. I am planning on heading there this weekend.
