My #%^$&*g key won't go into the ignition anymore. I got a suggestion on LCML to have the cylinder rebuilt, butg the cost is about $20, I can order a new cylinder for $23 from CCoT. I have a push button igntion, the key just activates the electrical. Should I support my local locksmith, or just buy the new cylinder?

If you are not using the start side of the Toyota switch, other than keeping it 'psuedo-stock' what is the reasoning for wanting a new 'Toyota' ignition switch? Same function can be had for less monies from the aftermarket....

Good luck!

I supported the local locksmith, cost me $5.38( tax) and it works great!! SAved myself some cash. IT was easy to pull out, and he showed me how to fix it, or at least get started if it happened again.
