Hello to everybody,
I'm from Italy and I buyed a lovely hj61 with 12ht engine. km are around 300.000
I have a problem. When the engine is warm he doesn't hold the idle up and turns off. Getting it started again is a big problem. To keep it from shutting off I have to keep the engine accelerated.
Otherwise when the engine is could it started with an half turn of key and it holds up the minimum very well.
All the fuel filters are clean. Do you what I can check to resolve it please?
Sorry for my bad English.
Federico

If the idle is too low, I’d start by turning the idle adjuster/choke. On the right side of the steering wheel for mine

Try asking this question in the Diesel section:

With cold start you should have around 1000 to 1100 rpm
When getting warm it drops to 850 rpm.
So check if your cold start vsv works at all.
When warm adjust the rpm to 850 with a 10mm spanner . There is a nut which controls the idle rpm.

Thank you for your reply. Is The nut of the idle rpm near the throttle gas cable?
