Guys - I am chasing down the cause of my low idle on my '94 FZJ80 and I am in the process of following the FSM process of elimination. I am stuck on the IAC as it does not "appear" to be passing two of the three tests the FSM calls for, one of which is speculative at best. Here's the point of my post - and this is a big stretch I completely understand - I am looking for a KC based member that has an 80 idling at the appropriate 700 RPM in gear that would be willing to meet with me and allow me to do a quick parts swap to test the working unit on my engine before I invest $500 for a new replacement. This would take all of about 15 minutes to perform and it would have absolutely no impact on the donor unit as it is a two screw/one plug removal that takes only minutes to accomplish. I know, this is a HUGE request from a total stranger and I would certianly understand if the posted responses come back tell me I am smokin' crack, but short of this last test, I am faced with a large dollar expense that may actually not be needed. Thoughts guys?
