Could somebody confirm for me that this is a 70-something series LC? I'm 95% sure it is based on the front axle control arms and grab handle on the passenger A-pillar (they both look the same as my 80) and the license plate does say "MUD" :hhmm: but I would like a confirmation to help settle a friendly bet between a buddy and I.

It looks like a 2 door Prado - see Axel's in post #293 in the sticky " Post Pics Of Your Modded 7x Series" at the the top of the forum.

Its a SWB LCII also called the BUNDERA.Has coils all round with 8'' hilux axles and LSD rear.was made until 93 or 94,the 4 door versions called the prado continued until 96.

They were made with the 2L-T and 3L engines.

Its a KZJ70,I think Dieseldog on MUD has the same model.

That one belongs to an English woman named Sarah(she posts on Difflock in the Toyota forum).
Pic was taken in Canada on her charity fundraiser when she toured North America in o6

Note: It is hard catorgorising these lightweight 70 models as many countries got different body and engine configurations in the same year.

They also had various R petrol engines carbed and efi

The last of the Bundera's was made in 1993.The Prado front end as in picture above was on the facelifted 1990 bundera before which they had the older front.

Check this link.

Well actually, seeing the Bundeera was an aussie thing only,it was discontinued in oz in 92 and sales in that year were miserable.
I dont even think the models in the last 2 years even got a Bundeera sticker.

Oz had to wait 4 years till the 96 before we got any more Prados
